About this course

Free Level 3 Wood Occupations (Construction) Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You train on the job, applying your carpentry skills in a real construction environment while you earn. This level 3 wood occupations qualification is designed for people already working in a wood or carpentry trade role. Ideally you'll hold a relevant Level 2 NVQ in a wood trade before starting, and an initial assessment will confirm the right starting point for you. The course typically takes 6 months.

Who this course is for

This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work as a wood / carpentry trade specialist within the construction industry

Entry requirements

Ideally learners will hold a NVQ Level 2 in Wood Trade related qualifications and be employed. An Initial assessment will also be carried out to provide a skills analysis.

An initial assessment is carried out at the start to analyse your existing skills and plan your learning.
