Free Level 3 Uniformed Services Course in Liverpool. Classes run at MPC Liverpool, daytime and flexible over one year. There are no entry requirements. You'll complete a short medical questionnaire when you join. The course covers the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in the uniformed services, from the armed forces to the emergency services. It's fully funded through the Education and Training Foundation, with bursaries available to help with equipment costs.
Who this course is for
This course enables young people to access a Uniformed Service AEB programme focused on gaining employment into their desired job choice within the Uniformed Services.
Entry requirements
There are no entry requirements to this course although there is a medical questionnaire that will be completed on entry.
What you will learn
You'll develop physical fitness and understand the standards expected in uniformed services roles.
You'll learn about the structure and roles within services such as the Army, Navy, RAF, police, and fire service.
You'll build teamwork and leadership skills through practical activities.
You'll study discipline, personal responsibility, and professional conduct.
You'll gain knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
You'll understand the application and selection processes for uniformed services careers.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom sessions and practical activities at MPC Liverpool. Assessment is based on assignments, projects, and practical tasks completed throughout the year. There are no exams. Your progress is assessed on an ongoing basis, giving you regular feedback as you work through the course.
