Free Level 3 Uniformed Services Course in Birmingham. Classes run at MPC Birmingham, daytime and flexible across one year. This uniformed services qualification covers the knowledge, fitness, and skills that employers in the armed forces, police, fire service, and other uniformed services look for. There are no entry requirements. You'll complete a short medical questionnaire when you join. The course is fully funded, so there is no cost to you. Bursaries may be available to help with equipment costs.
Who this course is for
This course enables young people to access a Uniformed Service AEB programme focused on gaining employment into their desired job choice within the Uniformed Services.

There are no entry requirements to this course although there is a medical questionnaire that will be completed on entry.
What you will learn

You'll study the structure and values of services such as the army, navy, police, and fire service.
You'll practise teamwork and leadership skills used in uniformed environments.

You'll understand health, safety, and risk assessment in operational contexts.
How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom sessions, practical activities, and group exercises at MPC Birmingham. Assessment is through assignments, practical tasks, and portfolio evidence gathered over the year. There is no formal written exam. Your progress is reviewed throughout the course to make sure you're on track.
