About this course

Free Level 3 Sports Leadership Course in Littlehampton. Classes run full-time during the day at The Littlehampton Academy. This free sports leadership course builds on the Community Sports Leaders Award, developing your ability to lead unsupervised groups in sport and recreational activities. You'll strengthen practical skills in organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through sport. The course runs over 18 months. To join, you should have completed the Community Sports Leaders Award. BTEC Sport experience is an advantage but not required.

Who this course is for

The Level 3 Certificate in Higher Sports Leadership is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful learners to lead unsupervised groups of people in sport and recreational activities. This qualification builds upon the skills and experience gained through the Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership. The qualification teaches generic leadership and life skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport. It is a fun and practical qualification, with no entrance requirements or final examinations to sit.

Entry requirements

Candidates should have completed the Community Sports Leaders Award. Studying BTEC Sport is an advantage although is not essential.
