About this course

Free BTEC National Diploma in Sport in Lambeth. Classes run at The Elmgreen School, full-time over two years.

You'll study the science and practice behind sport and physical activity. Units cover anatomy and physiology, fitness training, sports coaching, and the psychology of performance. You'll also explore nutrition, sports development, and how to plan and lead sessions. To join, you'll need at least five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including grade 4 in English and Maths.

Who this course is for

You will understand the benefits of leading a healthy and active lifestyle, along with playing, participating and learning more sports. It is helpful but not essential if you have already completed the Level 2 Diploma or the Level 2 BTEC First Award in Sport.

Entry requirements

You must have at least five level 4 and above at GCSE and Grade 4 in English and Maths. If you did the Level 2 qualification in Sport then you must have completed it to a Merit Level.
