About this course

Level 3 Sport Course in Abingdon. Classes run at Abingdon and Witney College Abingdon Campus, full-time in the evenings. It may be free if you're 16 to 18 years old. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply.

This sport qualification is delivered in partnership with Oxford United in the Community. You'll study the sporting industry alongside football development. Topics include sports coaching, fitness, performance analysis, and sports science. The course runs over 2 weeks of intensive evening study.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC National Extended Diploma in Sport.

Who this course is for

The Oxford United Advanced Football Programme is a full-time study programme which enables students aged 16-18 to advance their academic knowledge in the sporting industry alongside football development in partnership with Oxford United in the Community.

Entry requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 including English or maths OR a pass in the subject at level 2 with English and maths not lower than a grade 3/Functional Skills L2 and at least grade 4 in one of English or maths.
