Free Level 3 Sport and Physical Activity Development Course in Cirencester. Classes run at Cirencester College, full-time over two years. You'll explore how to teach, coach, lead and organise sport and physical activity for people of different ages, abilities and needs. Units cover body systems, sports coaching and leadership, nutrition for sport, sports psychology, biomechanics, and more. Four units are assessed by written examination; the rest are coursework-based. You'll also develop practical coaching skills through community activities with local partners. To start, you'll need five or more GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English Language, Maths and a science subject.

Entry requirements
5+ GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, from the�core subjects, including English Language, Maths and Biology/Science. A qualification in PE and a Grade 5 in Science is also recommended. A qualification in PE is preferable but not compulsory.

How you will learn
You'll learn through a mix of classroom study and practical activity. You'll also take part in community coaching activities with local partners, giving you hands-on experience working with real groups in sport and physical activity settings.
