Who this course is for

Study within performing arts can be rewarding for many reasons. Whether you enjoy the spotlight or prefer to work behind the scenes, studying a performing arts qualification will give you the chance to learn and explore many skills, as well as learning about the range of employment opportunities within the Industry to support you in your journey towards a successful career.

Being taught by tutors who have themselves worked professionally within the Industry, can make a real difference to your development and their experience and knowledge can have a significant impact on your overall development. A performing arts qualification can lead to varied career paths from creative therapies in the healthcare sector to the more traditional roles of actors, dancers and performers.

Work on the course is project based which means you can work towards a vocationally relevant scenario and this allows lots of opportunities to learn, develop and extend your skills further. While there are opportunities for you to work individually, there is also the opportunity to work as a team and nothing is more satisfying than working with like-minded creative people towards a common goal. So, if you are enthusiastic, creative, committed, determined and resilient, performing arts could be the career for you.
