About this course

Level 3 Nail Services Course in Darlington. Classes run at Darlington College, full-time during the day, over 34 weeks. Who this course is for

This course is a specialist vocationally related qualification which will enable learners to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding required in order to perform advanced techniques in nail technology, such as the application and maintenance of acrylic and light cured gel. You will also learn advanced techniques in nail art such as embedding, embellishing and 3D designs. Learners will be able to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding in order to perform professional nail treatments for clients. The course will also provide learners with advanced skills so that you can gain employment in the nail service industry.

Entry requirements

You must be confident that you can work at a Level 3 standard, therefore you must have a Level 2 Beauty Therapy or Level 2 Nail Services qualification for entry onto the programme. Applicants will be advised of suitability at interview. A keen interest in the subject is essential. We will request a college report and you will need to attend an interview at the college, which will include a trade test and an entry assignment.

You must be fully committed to study at home.
