Level 3 Music Performance and Production Course in Leamington Spa. Classes run at Royal Leamington Spa College, full-time over two years. If you're under 19, tuition is free. If you're 19 or over, fees may apply, though waivers are available based on income or benefits.

You'll finish with a University of the Arts London Diploma in Music Performance and Production.

Who this course is for

This nationally recognised qualification offers you the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of modern music production and sound design, composition and performance. Using the latest computer-based music sequencing software (Logic Pro-X, PRO-TOOLS recording studio facilities and live sound PA systems, you can specialise in working as a Producer, Studio Engineer or Live Sound Technician. The course also offers the opportunity for DJs to showcase their skills.You can also focus on traditional music performance, composition and songwriting in any genre. This qualification is designed to offer students an individualised approach and can therefore cater for a wide range of interests and performance styles.Classical singers and instrumentalists are just as welcome as Rock and Pop musicians and we have a long history of supporting Singer/Songwriters and composers to develop their craft.The course aims to provide you with a background knowledge, understanding, skills and abilities required for entry into the music and entertainment industry or higher levels of study.This course is delivered as two qualifications, each a year long (usually a national or 90 credit diploma in Year 1 and the extended diploma in Year 2). Students who are 18 years old when they start Year 1 will therefore be 19 at the start of Year 2 and may be subject to fees for the Year 2 qualification. All learners will need to successfully complete the Year 1 qualification to be able to progress to the Year 2 qualification.
