Level 3 Kitchen Installation Skills Course in Stoke-on-Trent. Classes run at Construction Skills College, full-time over 26 days. This course is open to service leavers who can use ELC or IRTC funding. Fees may apply for other learners. You'll train in kitchen fitting plus two trades of your choice from plumbing, tiling, and plastering. No previous experience is needed before you start. Entry requirements

No previous knowledge or skills are required prior to starting this course. The course is aimed at people with little or no previous experience.

What you will learn

  • You'll develop practical skills in kitchen fitting and installation.
  • You'll learn to plan and carry out kitchen refurbishments.
  • You'll train in one of plumbing, tiling, or plastering as an additional trade.
  • You'll train in a second additional trade from the same options.
  • You'll gain the technical knowledge to complete kitchen projects independently.
  • You'll build the skills needed to work on individual trade projects within each chosen area.

How you will learn

Training is hands-on and classroom based, with practical work central to the course. You'll learn through doing, working on real installation tasks across kitchen fitting and your chosen additional trades. Assessment is practical, testing your ability to carry out the work to industry standard. The course runs full-time during the day over 6 weeks at Construction Skills College.
