What is it? BTEC IT includes practical tasks and theory, incorporating a wide range of topics including website development, animation, database design and game development. The course opens the door to careers in IT and business. Why study this course at Blackpool Sixth? We use live scenarios, raising funds for charities, incorporating work experience and working in our computer lab to develop practical skills. Ideal for entry into the workplace or university. You will visit the college technical support team and tour the colleges network system. The trip to Business Live at Disney Paris is a highlight of the year. Entry requirements

As BTEC level 3 courses are advanced courses, we require five A*- C passes of 4 (C) grade or above (or equivalent) including English language or maths. Please see our website for any specific course requirements.
