Free Level 3 Human Biology Course in Waltham Forest. Classes run full-time at Heathcote School & Science College over two years. You'll need five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths, plus grade 4 in Combined Science or Biology. The course covers scientific principles, laboratory techniques, practical investigation skills, and the applications of biology in real contexts. It carries the same weight as one A Level and is designed to meet university entry requirements or support entry into biology-related work.
Who this course is for
This course develops an understanding of principles and applications of science, practical scientific procedures, science investigation skills, laboratory techniques and their applications and analytical science. It provides progression either by meeting entry requirements in their own right or by being accepted alongside other qualifications at the same level and adding value to them.
