How you will learn
The BTEC Extended Diploma is assessed through a combination of internally assessed assignments and externally assessed examinations set by Pearson Edexcel. Assignments are completed over the course and marked by your tutors. External assessments are sat at set points during the two years. There are no traditional end-of-year exams for every unit; much of your work is portfolio and task-based, produced in the classroom.
