Free Level 3 Hairdressing Course in Stoke-on-Trent. Classes run full-time at Stoke-on-Trent College Cauldon Campus, five days a week during the day, over 34 weeks. You'll build on existing hairdressing skills through practical training in the college's commercial salons, covering a wide range of techniques alongside Maths and English. You'll need an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject to join, and you'll have a pre-induction interview to confirm this is the right level for you. This level 3 hairdressing qualification is awarded by City and Guilds.

Who this course is for

This is the course for you if you want to progress your career in hairdressing. You will learn many different aspects of hairdressing through a combination of practical skills and theoretical knowledge. This course will include Maths, English and experience of work. You will train and complete all assessments in the commercial salons and have opportunity to attend a wide range of enrichment activities. Optional units may change to meet employer requirements.

Entry requirements

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in an appropriate subject. You will have a pre-induction interview/assessment to make sure this is the right level for you.

You'll complete all assessments in a salon environment and have the opportunity to take part in enrichment activities. Optional units may be adjusted to reflect current employer requirements.
