Free Level 3 GCE A Level in Maths Course in Tower Hamlets. Classes run at Central Foundation Girls' School, full-time over two years. You'll need five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including grade 5 in English Language and grade 7 in Maths, to join. The course covers the language of numbers, symbols, and formulas used to solve complex problems. A strong result opens doors to university courses and careers across engineering, finance, data, and science.
Who this course is for
This course will suit you if you like a challenge, clarity and knowing that working out the right answer will bring you excitement and satisfaction. A good grade in A Level Maths can boost your university application for pretty much every course and many occupational fields require advanced study of maths. Just as languages provides the building blocks and rules we need to communicate, maths uses its own language, made up of numbers, symbols and formulas, to explore the rules we need to measure or identify essential problems like distance, speed, time, space, change, force and quantities.Math?s is one of the best subjects to develop your analytical, research and problem solving skills. Not only will studying math?s help give you the knowledge to tackle scientific, mechanical, coding and abstract problems, it will also help you develop logic to tackle everyday issues like planning projects, managing budgets and even debating effectively.
Entry requirements
