Free Level 3 Fabrication and Welding Course in Haringey. Classes run at Capital City College Tottenham Campus, full-time during the day.

The course is highly practical. You spend most of your time in the engineering workshop, learning fabrication and welding techniques alongside engineering principles. It runs for 36 weeks. You'll need three GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, Science, and Maths. An equivalent Level 2 Engineering qualification with Functional Skills Maths and English at Level 2 is also accepted.

You'll finish with a City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Engineering.

Who this course is for

This Level 3 City & Guilds qualification is a one-year course designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to progress into an Engineering Apprenticeship.The course is highly practical and you will spend the majority of your time in the engineering workshop. The course is perfect for anyone aspiring to start an apprenticeship or work in maintenance, installation and commissioning as a technician.

Entry requirements

You will need:Three GCSE's at grade 4 or above including English, Science and Maths or an equivalent Level 2 Engineering qualification with Maths and English Functional Skills at Level 2.All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
