How you will learn

You'll study units covering equine science, health, nutrition, and stable management, and apply that knowledge through hands-on experience with horses. Assessment is through coursework and practical tasks across each unit. English and Maths are included as required.

What you will need to bring

The centre will provide most materials. Riseholme College will confirm anything else you need before you start. Entry requires four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths, English and Science (preferably Biology), or a relevant Level 2 qualification. Relevant practical experience with horses is also required.
