Entry requirements

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice, further eligibility may be linked to where you live and we will check that at enrolement. As this course will be delivered online you will require basic IT skills to take part in the virtual classroom. You must have attended the Introduction to Working in Adult Education and Training before you are able to progress to this qualification.

Assessment is through written assignments and a micro-teach session, where you plan and deliver a short lesson that is observed and assessed. There are no formal exams.
