About this course

Free Level 3 Creative Media Course in Westminster. Classes run at Lisson Grove Centre on Mondays and Wednesdays, 09:30 to 16:30.

The course runs for a full year and covers the full range of creative media disciplines. You'll explore audio production, visual production, and interactive media. Units also cover design research, professional practice, and critical thinking about media. You'll develop practical skills across Adobe software and build a body of creative work.

You'll finish with a University of the Arts London Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology at Level 3.

Who this course is for

Please note: This is a year-long course that runs on Mondays and Wednesdays, 09.30-16.30 This UAL accredited course is designed to give you every possible chance to develop your skills, competencies and knowledge that are required to study at a higher level in Creative Media Production and Technology and/or a successful future in the wider industry. The Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study or employment in the media sector. It provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in media to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure that is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to more specialised study.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at Lisson Grove Centre, two days a week. The course uses a mix of practical project work and written assignments. Each unit builds on the last, moving from introductory skills through to a developed personal project. You'll need a portfolio of work or a relevant Level 2 qualification at Merit to apply, along with English and maths at Level 1 or above and skills in at least three Adobe programmes.

The centre will provide most materials. Lisson Grove Centre will confirm anything else you need before you start. You will need to show a portfolio of creative work or evidence of a relevant Level 2 qualification at Merit when you apply.
