About this course

Free Level 3 Counselling Course. Study online at your own pace over 35 weeks. You must be aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2025, resident in England, and have lived in the EU for the last three years to enrol. This free counselling course builds in-depth knowledge of counselling skills and the theoretical models behind them. You'll explore how these skills apply in everyday life and in work settings. The course suits people who need flexibility and cannot commit to fixed classroom hours.

Who this course is for

This qualification aims to provide learners with in-depth knowledge of the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work and the approaches that underpin the use of these skills. This qualification is ideal for those seeking to enhance their functional role through the use of counselling skills. Learners will gain an understanding of a range of counselling skills and have the opportunity to examine some of the various schools of thought/theoretical models associated with them. This qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor.

Entry requirements
