About this course

Free Level 3 Children's Workforce Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting your learning around work and other commitments. This children's workforce qualification is designed for people already working in childcare who want to take on more responsibility, such as leading a room or managing provision. You'll develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to work confidently in an early years setting. The course typically takes 12 months to complete.

Who this course is for

This TQUK qualification is a range of workshop based, face to face and e-learning teaching sessions developed to support individuals to develop the necessary skills to meet the needs of under-fives within an early years setting or reception class.

Upon completion, the learner will be able to explain the expected patterns of childrens development from birth to age seven. The environment in which they work in must encompass the age range of birth to five years old.

Entry requirements

Learners will need to:

Have been legally living in the UK for at least the past three years

Be able to demonstrate working practice in early years childcare to achieve the qualification outcomes

Committed to attend all masterclasses and independent study
