Level 3 Car Mechanic Course in King's Lynn. Classes run at The College of West Anglia, full-time during the day. It may be free if you have not yet completed a Level 3 or above qualification. If you are 19 or over, an Advanced Learner Loan may also be available. This car mechanic qualification covers modern vehicle technologies, advanced diagnostic skills, and both mechanical and electronic fault finding. You will learn to use scan tools and a wide range of diagnostic methods, and develop customer communication skills. The course runs for one year. You will need a full Level 2 motor vehicle qualification to apply.

How you will learn
Learning is practical and classroom based. Assessment uses a variety of task-based assessments, observation, oral questioning, and online assessments. Visual questioning techniques are used throughout to support understanding. Full-time study runs across three to four days per week.
