About this course

Free Level 3 Business Course in Canterbury. Classes run at The Canterbury Academy, full-time during the day.

The course covers eight units across a broad range of business topics, including finance, marketing, human resources, and enterprise. You'll hear from guest speakers and take part in industry-related trips. Around 360 hours of study are involved over two years. You'll need GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above to join.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC National Diploma in Business, equivalent to two A Levels.

Who this course is for

The Diploma is designed to be the substantive part of a 16 - 19 study programme for learners who want a strong core of sector study. This programme may include other BTEC Nationals or A Levels to support progression to higher education courses in business areas before entering employment. The additional qualification(s) studied allow learners either to give breadth to their study programme by choosing a contrasting subject, or to give it more focus by choosing a complementary subject. This qualification can also be used to progress to Higher Apprenticeships.
