About this course

Free BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business in Stratford-upon-Avon. Classes run at Stratford-upon-Avon College, full-time during the day.

This is the second year of the BTEC business route. You'll need to have passed the Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business first. The course covers seven units over one year. Topics include digital marketing, international business, corporate social responsibility, and management principles. Two units are assessed by exam. The rest are assessed through assignments, presentations, and reports.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.

Who this course is for

On successful completion on this one-year course you can progress onto a higher education programme at University or College. The other options are to go onto apprenticeship or into employment. We will support with any of the options you decide and help you through the UCAS or application process.

Entry requirements

You will need to have completed and passed the Level 3 foundation diploma in business. This can be at Stratford-upon-Avon College or another college (Depending on what units you completed)

How you will learn

Classes are delivered through lectures, presentations, case studies, workshops, and guest speakers. You'll also take part in external trips. Two units are assessed by exam. The remaining units are assessed through assignments, role plays, interviews, written reports, posters, and leaflets. Assignment briefs are designed by tutors and shaped by employer feedback.
