About this course

Free BTEC National Diploma in Business in Codsall. Classes run at Codsall Community High School, full-time over two years.

This course is for students with an interest in Business who would like to secure employment working for a Business or setting up their own Business in the future. This is a broad-based qualification that provides you with the opportunity to explore the world of business in a highly practical way. By adopting an investigative approach, a whole range of skills essential for employment can be developed, whilst discovering the problems and opportunities faced by companies today.

Entry requirements

Grade 4 or above in GCSE Business or a Merit or above in BTEC Business.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom sessions, guest speakers, and business visits. The National Diploma has eight assessed components. Five are internally set tasks, which make up 54% of your grade. Three are external examinations, which make up the remaining 46%. Your teachers set the internal tasks. Pearson Edexcel sets the external exams.
