Free Level 3 BTEC Sport, Fitness and Personal Training Course in Carlisle. Classes run at Carlisle College, full-time during the day over 35 weeks. You'll study anatomy and physiology, nutrition, fitness skill development, and personal trainer skills. The course is developed in collaboration with REPs and CIMSPA, so completing it qualifies you as a Level 2 Gym Instructor and lets you work in the industry straight away. To enrol, you'll need five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths, or a BTEC Level 2 equivalent with GCSE English and maths at grade 4.

Assessment is through assignments, practical observations, and a research project. There are no written exams. Your work is assessed against Pearson Edexcel BTEC standards throughout the course.
