Free Level 3 BTEC National Foundation Diploma in Computing Course in Peterborough. Classes run at Peterborough College, full-time during the day, over 36 weeks. Who this course is for
Advance your knowledge of computer science the fundamental understanding of computer systems and skills in managing networks to pursue your career in the RAF. This course will also give you the opportunity to develop an understanding of how computers work and skills in programming managing networks cybersecurity designing and developing applications and websites and games development. The programme includes employability skills (attitudinal goals) and Functional Skills or GCSEs in English and maths (dependent upon existing qualifications) alongside practical workshops at Stamford College. You will also take part in a blend of practical and theory activities with a range of assessment methods including three hours per week of personal training to develop your physical fitness. Graduates of The Air and Defence College are guaranteed a place on RAF basic recruit training (subject to RAF entry criteria) and will be well equipped to pass first time.
