Free BTEC National Extended Certificate in Sport Course in Ascot. Classes run at Charters School, full-time over two years.

This Level 3 BTEC sport course covers a broad range of topics across the sporting industry. Units include coaching, fitness, anatomy, and sport psychology. The course is equivalent to one A Level. You'll need a GCSE grade 5 in PE, Dance, or a Merit in BTEC Sport to apply. A grade 4 in English Language or Literature is also required.

You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel Level 3 BTEC National Extended Certificate in Sport.

Who this course is for

The BTEC Sport programme is designed to provide specialist work related scenarios and experiences, developed to meet the employment opportunities within the leisure industry. The course consists of numerous Units which cover a range of topics to be as broad as possible across the sporting industry. The Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport is a two year course and is equivalent to one A level.

In addition to these the subject specific entry requirements are: GCSE grade 5 in PE or Dance or Merit (Level 2) in BTEC Sport and a grade 4 in English Language or Literature.
