About this course

Free Level 3 BTEC National Extended Certificate in Business Course in Wolverhampton. Classes run at Heath Park School, full-time during the day over two years.

This Level 3 BTEC business qualification covers the essentials of how businesses operate. You'll study finance, marketing, and management in depth. The course also explores how these areas connect in today's business environment. Assessment includes coursework, controlled assessment, and exams, so you can show your skills in different ways.

You'll need at least four GCSEs at grade 4 or above to join. You'll finish with a Pearson Edexcel BTEC National Extended Certificate.

Who this course is for

BTEC National Business Studies at Post 16 is offered through two option routes. Your course could be worth the equivalent of one or two A levels. There is a range of assessments unlike academic A levels - coursework, controlled assessment and exam so you can demonstrate multiple skills. The topic areas we focus on include an Introduction to Business but then a deeper study of Finance, Marketing and Management. Lastly, to reflect the world we are in today and to link all the topics together, we would study International Business.
