Free Level 3 BTEC Art, Design and Media Foundation Course in Wigan. Classes run at Winstanley College, full-time during the day. This is a one-year bridging course that helps you move from school-level study into specialist art and design education. You'll explore art, design and media practice across a range of disciplines, building a portfolio and developing your creative and critical thinking. The course is free if you are 19 after 31st August 2003. It is the recognised route into higher education art and design programmes.

What you will learn

How you will learn
You'll learn through studio practice, project work and critical study in the classroom. Assessment is through a portfolio of practical work, written assignments and a final major project. You'll receive feedback from tutors throughout the year to develop your work. There are no written exams.
