About this course

Free Level 3 Beauty Therapy General Course in Hempstead. Classes run at Any Driver Kent, part-time during the day. This course is funded through an Advanced Learner Loan. The level 3 beauty therapy general classes run over 18 weeks and build on the treatments and skills you already have. Many employers set Level 3 as their minimum requirement for beauty therapy roles, and insurance companies increasingly ask for it too. You'll need existing experience delivering beauty treatments and a relevant qualification at Level 2 or above before you start.

Entry requirements

This course is funded via an Advanced Learner Loan.

You will already have experience of delivery Beauty related treatments and will hold the appropriate qualifications - however these may be NVQ Level 2 or even non-regulated CPD qualifications.

  • You'll study anatomy and physiology as they apply to beauty therapy.
  • You'll practise waxing, electrical treatments, and specialist skin care.

  • You'll learn how to consult with clients and plan personalised treatment programmes.

How you will learn

You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at the centre, combining practical hands-on treatment work with underpinning knowledge. Assessment is through observed practical demonstrations, written assignments, and a portfolio of evidence showing your competence across the required treatment units. Your assessor will observe you carrying out treatments and confirm you meet the NVQ standards.
