Free Level 3 Advanced and Creative Hairdressing Course. Work-based training at your workplace. You'll need a Level 2 hair professional qualification or equivalent to enrol. This advanced and creative hairdressing course runs over 12 months while you work in a salon role, building expertise in creative cutting, colouring, styling, and advanced hair techniques. You'll develop the professional standards expected in high-end and fashion-forward environments, from bespoke salons to media and luxury settings. Assessment includes knowledge units, theory presentations, and an End Point Assessment.

What you will learn

  • You'll master advanced creative cutting techniques, including fashion-forward and innovative styles.
  • You'll develop expertise in creative colouring and styling methods.
  • You'll build in-depth knowledge of hair theory and product knowledge.
  • You'll practise professional client consultation skills.
  • You'll apply health and safety standards relevant to salon and mobile work environments.
  • You'll develop the ability to work independently, managing your own client list and workload.
  • You'll understand how to maintain and develop personal and professional standards in a high-end industry.

How you will learn

Training takes place in your workplace over 12 months. Assessment combines practical on-the-job learning with knowledge units assessed through quizzes and theory presentations. The course ends with an End Point Assessment (EPA), which tests your skills and knowledge across the full qualification. Attendance at Debut Academy sessions is bi-weekly on Mondays.
