Level 3 Adult Care Course in South Shields. Classes run at Learning for Excellence, full-time over 36 weeks, with day or block release attendance. The government will pay the fees if you don't already hold a full Level 3 qualification. If you do, you may be able to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan. You'll complete a basic skills assessment before you start. This adult care qualification covers supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs, and health and social care procedures. It prepares you to work in a lead adult care worker role in health and social care settings in England.
Who this course is for
The qualification is aimed at learners who wish to work, or are working, in a lead adult care worker role in health and social care settings in England. It develops and recognises achievement of the knowledge and skills required to work as a lead adult care worker by covering a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health and social care procedures. This qualification replaces the qualification in the Health and Social Care SASE framework and it is a mandatory part of the training for achievement of the Lead Adult Care Worker standard.
