Free Level 2 Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities Course. Study online at your own pace, fitting learning around your existing commitments. The course covers legislation, the healthcare system, and the signs and symptoms of conditions that affect people with learning disabilities. It takes around 35 weeks to complete. To enrol, you must be aged 19 or over as of 31 August 2025, be a resident of England, and have lived in the EU for the last three years. You cannot be studying on another course at the same time. You'll finish with an NCFE Certificate in Principles of Working with Individuals with Learning Disabilities.
Who this course is for
Around 1.5 million people in the UK have a learning disability, and can often find it more difficult than others to describe their symptoms. So a good knowledge of legislation and the healthcare system, as well as an understanding of signs and symptoms of various conditions, is essential for anyone working with individuals with learning disabilities.
