Free Level 2 Women's Hairdressing Course in Leeds. Classes run at Leeds City College Printworks Campus. You'll need 3 GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including English or Maths, to enrol. This full-time daytime women's hairdressing qualification covers the core skills employers expect from a trained hairdresser. The course takes one year to complete. The VTCT women's hairdressing classes give you hands-on practice in a salon environment.

How you will learn
You'll learn through practical sessions in a salon environment, working on real clients as your skills develop. Assessment includes practical observations, where an assessor watches you carry out treatments to the required standard. You'll also complete written assignments and knowledge tests covering the theory behind each service. Your progress is assessed throughout the course rather than in a single final exam.
