Free Level 2 Women's and Men's Hairdressing Course in Bridlington. Classes run full-time at East Riding College Bridlington Campus. What you will learn
You'll cut and style women's hair using a range of techniques.
You'll cut and style men's hair, including clipper and scissor work.
You'll apply colour and lightening treatments safely.
You'll shampoo, condition, and treat the scalp and hair.
You'll style and finish hair using blow-drying and setting methods.
You'll consult with clients and assess their hair and scalp.
You'll follow health, safety, and hygiene standards in a salon environment.
How you will learn
You'll learn through practical sessions in a training salon, working on models and fellow students. Assessment combines practical observations, where an assessor watches you carry out services, with written or online knowledge tests. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the units. Some units are assessed by City and Guilds external assessors.
