Free Level 2 Team Leading Course. Study online. You can work through the course at your own pace, fitting study around your job and other commitments. The course covers the principles of leading a team, including communication, planning work, and supporting team members. It typically takes 6 months to complete. You'll need to be aged 19 or over to be eligible for funding; further eligibility may depend on where you live and your income.

To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

How you will learn
You'll study online, working through course materials in your own time. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge-based questions that you complete and submit online. There are no exams. You'll work toward the TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading by demonstrating your understanding across the units.

The centre will provide most materials. Northallerton Adult Learning and Skills Service will confirm anything else you need before you start.
