Free Level 2 Special Educational Needs and Disability Course in Catterick Garrison. Classes run at Catterick Library & Information Centre, part-time during the day. The course runs over 6 months, so you can fit study around other commitments. You'll build knowledge of SEND to support children and young people in educational settings, whether you're already working in a school or supporting someone at home.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

You'll attend classroom-based sessions at Catterick Library & Information Centre. Learning is delivered face-to-face, with tutor-led sessions covering the core content of the qualification. Assessment is through written assignments and knowledge-based tasks completed during the course. Your tutor will guide you through each topic and support you with your assignments.
