Free Level 2 Special Educational Needs and Disability Course. Study online at your own pace. This free special educational needs and disability course is open to adults aged 19 or over who have lived in the UK for three or more years. You study entirely online, so you can fit learning around work, family, or other commitments. The course typically takes six months to complete. It covers how to support learners with a range of needs, and it builds the knowledge that SEN teaching assistants and teaching assistants use every day.

What you will learn

How you will learn
The course is delivered entirely online. You work through learning materials at your own pace and complete written assignments to demonstrate your understanding. Assessment is based on coursework rather than a formal exam. You submit your work online and receive feedback from an assessor. There are no set class times, so you can study when it suits you.
