Free Level 2 Safeguarding Course in Selby. Evening classes run at Selby Adult Learning and Skills Service, so you can fit study around your working week. This is a short course, running over 4 hours. You'll cover safeguarding principles, the Prevent duty, and British values, building knowledge that supports roles working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults. A free safeguarding course for adults aged 19 or over, funded subject to eligibility based on where you live and your income.

Entry requirements
To be eligible for funding for courses you must be over 19 years of age as at 31st August in the current academic year and not be an apprentice,further eligibility may be linked to where you live and your individual income.

How you will learn

Assessment is through written tasks or short questions that check your understanding of the key topics. The course is part-time and runs in the evening, completing in a single session of 4 hours.
