About this course

Free Level 2 Plumbing Course in Carlisle. Classes run full-time at Carlisle College, five days a week during the day, over 35 weeks. You'll cover health and safety, hot and cold water systems, drainage, central heating, and the scientific principles behind plumbing design and installation. The course combines classroom theory with practical workshop sessions, and includes a work placement of at least one day a week. Entry requires GCSE grades 3 or above in Maths, English, and Science, or equivalent. Mature students with relevant experience or qualifications may also be eligible.

How you will learn

Assessment is by written exams and a practical synoptic assessment. You'll also complete a work placement within the plumbing sector, for a minimum of one day per week.
