Free Level 2 Performing and Production Arts Course in Carlisle. Classes run at Carlisle College, full-time during the day over 35 weeks. You'll study music performance and production, working in bands, rehearsing songs across a range of styles, and performing at gigs throughout the year. The course also covers the history of popular music and contextual studies. You'll use industry-standard equipment, recording facilities, and rehearsal spaces. To join, you'll need at least four GCSEs at grade 1 or above, including maths and English (or Functional Skills Level 1 equivalents), and you'll audition with two contrasting pieces.

4 GCSEs at grade 1 (G) and above, including maths and English, Level 1 Pathways with maths and English Grade 3 (D) or Functional Skills Level 1, You will be required to audition demonstrating your instrumental / vocal skills (with two contrasting pieces to be performed).
