Free Level 2 Music Performance and Production Course in Truro. Classes run at Truro College, full-time during the day.
The course runs for one year and covers performing, songwriting, and music production. You'll explore popular music, develop your skills in the studio and on stage, and build a strong foundation for further study. You'll need three GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including English Language or Maths. Some previous experience in performance or production is expected.
You'll finish with a Level 2 Diploma in Music Performance and Production, awarded by University of the Arts London.

You will use our fantastic rehearsal facilities to improve and develop the practical skills required for performing in bands and collaborating with other musicians, and you will develop the techniques needed for playing in a range of styles and genres. You will take part in performances and gigs, you will learn about the history of popular music, the music industry, and you will develop employability skills to prepare you for a career in the industry. You will develop music sequencing and composition skills and you will be given many opportunities to review your progress.
