This IMI motorsport mechanic qualification covers the knowledge and skills needed to work as an automotive technician in motorsport, performance road cars, and the retail motor industry. The course runs for 10 months. It also forms the knowledge component of the Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture, so it can sit alongside an apprenticeship framework.
