Free Level 2 MOT Tester Course for Class 4 and 7 in Exeter. Classes run at Exeter and North Devon Colleges Technology Centre, part-time during the day. The course runs over 35 hours and covers the knowledge and practical skills you need to carry out MOT tests on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles. Class 4 covers cars and light passenger vehicles. Class 7 covers light goods vehicles.

How you will learn
You'll learn through classroom-based sessions at the centre, combining theory with practical vehicle inspection work. Assessment for the IMI Award includes written tests and practical assessments that reflect real MOT testing conditions. You'll need to demonstrate both your technical knowledge and your ability to apply it correctly during inspections.
