Free Level 2 Hairdressing Course in Saint Helens. Classes run at St Helens College. Daytime sessions make it possible to study around other commitments. This level 2 hairdressing qualification covers the core skills you need to work as a hairdresser, from cutting and colouring to client consultation. You'll have an initial assessment to make sure the course is the right level for you. The course runs to 400 hours of study. How you will learn
You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in a salon environment at St Helens College, alongside classroom-based theory. Assessment combines practical observations, where an assessor watches you carry out hairdressing services, with written or online tests covering underpinning knowledge. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course.
