Free Level 2 Hairdressing Course in Rotherham. Classes run at Rotherham College. This full-time, daytime hairdressing course takes one year to complete. You'll cover the core skills professional hairdressers use every day, from cutting and colouring to styling and client care. You'll have an initial assessment to make sure the Level 2 Hairdressing Qualification is the right level for you. The centre will use it to plan your learning.

You'll learn through hands-on practical sessions in a salon environment at Rotherham College, alongside classroom-based theory. Assessment is a mix of practical observation, where an assessor watches you carry out hairdressing tasks, and written or knowledge-based assessments. You'll build a portfolio of evidence as you progress through the course.
