Entry requirements

Entry onto this qualification can be via previous attainment of a Level 1 qualification in hairdressing and/or a successful skills test and interview.

How you will learn

You'll learn through practical, hands-on sessions in a salon environment alongside classroom-based theory. Assessment is through observed practical work, written assignments, and a portfolio of evidence. You'll be assessed on your technical skills and your ability to consult with and care for clients throughout the course.
