Level 2 Hairdressing Course in Eastbourne. Classes run full-time at East Sussex College Eastbourne Campus, one day a week over one year. You'll need a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 3 to 9, including English or maths at grade 3, or successful completion of a Level 1 course. The course covers cutting and styling women's hair, colouring, shampooing, conditioning, and finishing. You'll also carry out services on paying clients, building commercial experience before you enter the industry. A fee of £2,000 applies, plus a kit purchase covering two training heads and a course handbook. A compulsory uniform is also required.
Who this course is for
During this Level 2 course, you will develop skills, confidence and experience in cutting and styling women's hair. You will learn basic cutting techniques, learn how to shampoo and condition hair, apply colour, and finally style and finish hair for magnificent results.
Entry requirements
Minimum four grade 3-9 at GCSE or successful completion of the Level 1 course, and English or maths at grade 3.

You'll also have the opportunity to attend Salon International in London and take part in specialist workshops and skills competitions.
